About the Goldfinch Collection

The Goldfinch Collection is a carefully curated collection of pre-loved, vintage and antique jewellery sourced from all over the world. Launched by Leah Dembitzer, a long-time lover of all things vintage, the collection includes a collection of rings, bracelets, necklaces, charms and pendants. 

 

How to purchase

Make sure to sign up to the the newsletter. New items are sent out via the newsletter ahead of being loaded on to the website so subscribers will get first the first opportunity to purchase through the newsletter. Follow the instagram account which will notify you of new drops and when they have hit your emails. 48 hours after new pieces have been sent out to subscribers they will then go live on the website.

 

Sourcing

All pieces are sourced personally by Leah through her dealers based in several countries and all pieces reflect her personal style and aesthetic. Leah hunts for new finds in many different places, including auctions, estates , renowned London markets and global dealers. 

 

Testing and hallmarks

Most items are hallmarked and all stones will be tested for metal and stones. Of course, as with any pre-loved item, there will be some signs of wear and these will be detailed in the item description and pictured in photos. All jewellery will be cleaned before sent out.

 

Resizing

Most rings can be resized by up to two sizes either way. In some cases, this is not possible, for example if the ring is particularly old and delicate, if the band is too thin or on a particular design, for example a full eternity band with diamonds set all the way around the ring. We do not offer resizing at present but most high street jewellers will offer this service. 

 

Taking care of your pieces at home

Gently cleaning jewellery every few months is the way to go. A simple bath of warm soapy water and a soft bristle toothbrush is your best bet. Best to avoid wearing any jewellery with stones when swimming or in the bath as stones can change shape when soaked.

 

Payment

Payment can be made either directly through instagram using PayPal or via the website which accepts a number of different payment options. If you are interested in an item but require a flexible payment plan please send a DM on instagram and we can accommodate a suitable plan.
